Who is Marco Raugei ?

Dr. Marco Raugei holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University
of Siena (Italy); his doctoral work focused on the advancement of the
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, as well as its application to
renewable energy technologies (advanced photovoltaics). He also received
graduate-level education in Environmental Engineering at the University
of Florida (USA).
He is expert in LCA, energy analysis and
sustainability assessment, and has worked on several European and
international research projects related to renewable energy.
He
worked as a consultant for Ambiente Italia (Rome, Italy), and is
currently senior researcher with the Environmental Management Research
Group (GiGa) of ESCI – Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain),
visiting scientist at Columbia University (NY, USA), and collaborator of
Brookhaven National Laboratory (NY, USA).
He is also the Spanish
technical representative in the International Energy Agency Photovoltaic
Power Systems (PVPS) Programme, Task 12 - Life Cycle Assessment.
